The Hamas terrorist organization marked on Tuesday the 34th anniversary since its establishment in 1987, declaring that “armed resistance is the only way to regain our rights and liberate our land.”
Many thousands marched in honor of the occasion in Jabalya north of Gaza City on Friday.
In a proclamation issued to celebrate the date, Hamas saluted “the masses of our Palestinian people in the blessed land of Palestine; In Jerusalem, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the 1948 occupied lands, the refugee camps, and the diaspora,” and stated that it is firmly moving toward its goals and “holds a clear and unbreakable compass.” Tazpit News
