The IDF has dismissed assertions made by senior officers, as reported by military correspondent Amir Bohbot, claiming that crucial recordings from the day of the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7th have been deleted from the military database.

In response to these claims, the IDF spokesperson stated, “Contrary to the publications coming to light in the last day, materials and recordings documenting the events of October 7th have not been erased or concealed.

“All the materials from the IDF’s operational systems of the documented events have been saved and are accessible to the appropriate parties, like other operational materials are, and access to the materials is blocked to those who are not required to deal with them. Any other claim is baseless.”

Bohbot asserted that, according to senior reserve officers, videos from various IDF surveillance cameras along the Gaza border were deleted with the intent of obstructing the investigation. He further claimed that officials in the Gaza Division mentioned interference in the radio recordings from that day, hindering the possibility of obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the events on the day of the attack.

  1. Similar to what happened in the US on September 12th. Our beloved government immediately censored all surveillance camera footage from the Pentagon and downtown Manhattan.
