During a session of the Knesset Plenum, MK Meir Cohen from Yesh Atid criticized Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich of Religious Zionism after the approval of the national budget, Arutz Sheva reports.
Cohen accused Smotrich, stating, “Shame on you. They conquered the south because of you. You abandoned them to be murdered. On what merit are you here? You are divisive.”
In response, Smotrich defended himself, saying, “I’m not discussing who’s at fault now. For two months, I’ve said that there will be enough time after the war for introspection. But I was not the one who supported the Oslo Accords, which started this terrible emission of terror from Gaza, I was beaten by police officers in the 8th grade when I protested this folly – ‘don’t give them guns,’ we shouted. I wasn’t the one who applauded during the evacuation of Gush Katif and said ‘It will be okay, there will be peace and a new Middle East,’ not I and not the camp from which I come.”
Smotrich added, “For years, we’ve been calling out against terrorism. For years I’ve said that we will need to reconquer Gaza; they made me out to be deranged and crazy. I will self-reflect, there will be those who will have to learn personal lessons, but I will not blame anyone; there is only one thing to blame for this, and it’s called Hamas. Hamas and ISIS’s Nazis are to blame. The blame and responsibility are only there.”

If anyone is to be blamed for the massacre and injuries of thousands, it’s Yesh Atid and the leftist government and the leftist pro-Arab judicial court. It was 100% no doubt an inside job orchestrated by Israel’s government which started after they got rid of Bibi Netanyahu about 3 years ago.
