Families of the Meron tragedy victims slammed the Knesset Channel for giving viciously anti-chareidi television personality Yaron London a slot for his own show.
“I am not mourning the Meron disaster,” London wrote after the tragedy. “We and the chareidim are not members of one nation… What do I care if a few dozen of them fall like cardboard figures in a shooting range?”
The families said they regarded London’s appointment “a ludicrous and outrageous decision, which is a reward for hatred and opacity. The Knesset Channel had better come to its senses and cancel this shameful farce. Yaron London does not deserve to appear on state television and certainly not on his own show.”
