New York Attorney General Letitia James has stated her readiness to seize Donald Trump’s assets, including 40 Wall Street, if he fails to come up with the necessary funds to settle the $355 million judgment against him in the recently concluded civil fraud case. These remarks were made during an interview with ABC News on Tuesday.

“If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets,” James told ABC News.

The judgment, imposed by Judge Arthur Engoron last Friday, amounts to $354.8 million, coupled with approximately $100 million in pre-judgment interest. Trump, who is appealing the ruling, stands accused of deceiving banks and lenders with inflated financial statements.

Despite Trump’s appeal, Syracuse University of Law professor Greg Germain highlighted Trump’s argument, suggesting that James would need to demonstrate all traditional elements of fraud, which Engoron deemed lacking.

Nevertheless, James asserted her confidence in the case’s outcome, stating, “We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I look at 40 Wall Street each and every day,” countering Trump’s assertion of a victimless crime.

Trump had previously claimed during his November testimony, “There was no victim. There was no anything,” a statement rebuffed by James, who underscored the impact of financial frauds, emphasizing that they are not victimless crimes.

Engoron’s ruling follows a recent jury decision ordering Trump to compensate writer E. Jean Carroll with $83.3 million for defamation, stemming from her accusation of assault against him in a Manhattan department store in the 1990s. This verdict adds to the $5 million awarded to Carroll in a related trial last year.

A GoFundMe initiative launched to assist Trump in covering the $355 million judgment amassed $84,000 within the initial 24 hours and has since exceeded $741,000 as of Tuesday evening.

    • Agreed.
I’m not a fan of Trump’s at all, but even before he won the 2016 nomination the Democrats have been abusing the system to persecute him in any way possible. It’s as if one of us had a cop looking over our shoulder 24 hours a day, ready to ticket us for every jaywalking infraction, driving 25.01 MPH in a 25 MPH zone, or tearing the tag off a pillow.

  1. If this fat pig tries that, there will be violence in the streets that will make January 6th look like childs play.

    • Not even a single cent will Trump give these Deep State judges. They’re too dumb to realize that that the more they go after him the more popular he gets.

  2. I didn’t know she wanted Trump to become president so badly.

This totally lopsided verdict will enrage his base and many fair minded people who don’t necessarily like Trump.

They will come out and vote in droves for him.

This will be the especially true if Biden whose hands are none to clean when it comes to business dealings, is treated differently.

  3. This witch and the wacko judge need to be brought up on charges of whatever charges one can bring them up on. A 3-year-old with the slightest understanding of business, would know that there should have been absolutely no charge here. A 3-year-old would have understood from hearing the testimony from the bankers, those that allegedly would have been hurt by any improprietary here, that the Trump organization paid the loans without a problem and probably also prepaid with a penalty. A 2-year-old would understand that Mar-A-Lago is worth a lot more than the pennies in comparison, that the piece of garbage AG claimed it did.

So the bottom line is, if this 350 million is paid, who gets the money? The answer very simply is the Democrat Party and the AG.

I hope there’s a quick appeal to this and the next court takes it and throws it out in the trash can along with the AG and the judge, which is exactly where they should be.
