The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit has officially released the identity of a fallen soldier: Staff Sergeant Abraham Wovagen, aged 21 and hailing from Netanya, was killed in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, three soldiers sustained serious injuries during engagements in the same area.
Yesterday saw a solemn gathering, as hundreds assembled to bid farewell to Staff Sergeant Maoz Morell, aged 22, who tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in Gaza.
Morell was laid to rest with military honors at Mount Herzl’s military cemetery. Hailing from Talmon in the Binyamin region, he was the son of Varda and Eitan and a sibling to four. He learned at Dimona High School and Yeshivat Avinoam in Tapuach, Shomron, before he enlisted in the Paratroopers Brigade directly from Yeshiva.
Maoz’s untimely passing marked the sixth loss of a Dimona high school yeshiva alumnus in this conflict since October 7th.
