Two members of the media were caught exchanging humorous banter via a live microphone on Tuesday, envisioning a scenario where former President Donald Trump falls victim to an assassin’s bullet. This incident unfolded as they eagerly awaited Trump’s appearance at the federal courthouse in Washington. Positioned with their news cameras outside the E. Barrett Prettyman US Courthouse, the unidentified male journalists lamented the challenges of capturing a glimpse of the 77-year-old 2024 Republican frontrunner. One person, audible on the Associated Press live feed, remarked, “You know what the worst part is? Even if he has his window open and he’s hanging out of it, he will be on the other side of the street.”
The conversation took an unusual turn as the second reporter expressed optimism about obtaining a clear shot if Trump were driving. Responding to this, the first journalist commented, “Yeah, if he’s driving with the front window open.”
