It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Reb Yosef Waks z”l. He was 69.
Reb Yosef was a pioneering member of Hatzolah, joining the Williamsburg chapter of Hatzolah decades ago and later becoming of the first Hatzolah members in the Catskills.
A chossid of Klausenberg, Reb Yosef was a bus driver for the Satmar Cheder in Boro Park for many years, but his main occupation was chesed. Reb Yosef has a heart of gold and would do anything he could to help another person.
The levayah was held earlier this evening at Shomrei Hadas Chapels in Boro Park.

If you notice, most – an increase of 5,000% – are dying suddenly within weeks or a few short months either from blood clots or new cancer that they got aggressively like 3rd or 4th stage and doctors are fooling family members by telling them that they had it already for at least 3 years. And oilem goilem believe the doctors.
People die everyday. I don’t know if you’ve noticed it, but it’s been happening for, just about, the past 5,783 years.
