Message to all Orlando Area Visitors

Hatzalah needs your help! If you’re a resident (temporary as well) of Orlando, FL, please take a moment and make this very important call to a Florida Representative. A new bill, HB805 was introduced to the state legislatures to essentially give Hatzalah South Florida full privileges to have ambulances & transport (which we currently have to rely on 911). The bill has already passed 3 committees, the next one will hopefully beon the agenda for April 19th. This would be the last committee in the House, it’ll still require one more in the Senate before it goes to the “floor” for a full vote.

This bill, BE’H when it passes, will be extremely beneficial to our Hatzalah operations in Orlando.

Thank you for all the phone calls last time, it was extremely impactful, so much so that the representatives said they never have had so many calls regarding one issue before. However there still is more to do before it gets state approval. Please see below if you can call and voice your support again.

I am a constituent in the state of Florida and I would ask your support for House Bill 805 in reference to Volunteer Ambulance Services. As a (religious) Jew living in the state of Florida we feel that the work Hatzalah does is extremely important and HB805 will enable Hatzalah to respect our cultural and religious sensitivities. Please make sure this gets placed onto the next committee on April 19.
