Mexico’s interior ministry says it has as many as 10,000 police officers on the ground looking for escaped drug lord Joaquin Guzman, also known as El Chapo. Other precautions, officials say, include more than 100 roadblocks on the country’s highways and increased patrols on Mexico’s borders with the U.S. and Guatemala.
This was Guzman’s second prison escape, and the U.S.’s Drug Enforcement Administration reportedly played a big role in recapturing him after the first one. Read more at BBC News.
