The official Palestinian Authority TV channel reporting on yesterday’s Yaffo stabbing attack, said that the “martyr” had carried out “a complex operation in which 12 settlers were wounded” and that “one of them, according to Hebrew sources, was an American tourist, who was killed.”
Voice over: “In Jaffa, a young man was martyred by the bullets of the occupation police. This happened in the Jaffa Port area. The occupation police said that he had carried out a stabbing attack in the area, in which one Israeli was killed and nine others were wounded to varying degrees. The man who carried out the stabbing operation was martyred as a result of his serious wounds.”
Reporter Christine Al-Rinawi: “In Jaffa, in the Jaffa Port, to be precise, a complex operation was carried out by a martyr, who, according to Hebrew sources – and this was reported to our sources in Qalqilya as well – was 22-year-old Bashar Masalha, from Hijjah, Qalqilya. He carried out a complex operation in which 12 settlers were wounded. One of them, according to Hebrew sources, was an American tourist, who was killed.”
