We regret to inform you of the petirah of R’ Shimi Brecher, a beloved member of the Lakewood kehilla and mispalel at K’hal Zichron Shneur for many years.
A noted baal chesed and baal tzedakah, R’ Shimi was very close to Rav Chaim Kanievsky and spent a lot of time with him over the years. He also helped others receive brachos and guidance from Rav Chaim, and once organized a visit to the gadol hador for a group of Lakewood teenagers from The Minyan.
R’ Shimi is survived by his wife, Faigy, and their children.
