Rav Menachem Mendel Morris zt”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Menachem Mendel Morris zt”l. He was 89 years old.

A prominent alumnus of Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin, Rabbi Morris resided in Monsey, where he served as a mashgiach and was mashpiah on many bnei Torah over the years. He was known as a great tzaddik and talmid chochom, a throwback to a different age and period and a paragon of yiras Shomayim and dveykus b’Hashem.

The levayah was held last night at the Breslover Bais Hamedrash on Route 306 in Monsey.

Rav Mendel is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shulamis Morris, and his children, R’ Yitzchok Aaron Morris, R’ Shmuel Yaakov Morris, R’ Boruch Ber Morris, Mrs. Chaya Wigder, Mrs. Blima Ettil Landau, Mrs. Sara Libby Silberberg, Mrs. ZIssy Katz, Mrs. Malka Rivky Bluming and Mrs. Yocheved Mayer.
