Rav Dov Kook Stricken with Coronavirus

All are asked to daven for Rav Dov Kook, the noted mekubal of Tiveria and a nephew of Rav Chaim Kanievsky, who has tested positive for the coronavirus, Matzav.com has learned.

In the last few days, after putting himself into self-isolation, Rav Kook felt unwell. Although the known symptoms that characterize the coronavirus – cough and fever – did not appear, a test was performed by Magen David Adom members. A day later, the results confirmed that the rov has the virus. Based on his condition, it was decided to keep Rav Kook in a home setting, where he is being cared for by his wife, Rebbetzin Leah Kook, as opposed to a hospital.

All are asked to daven for Dov Isser Hakohein ben Shoshana.
