During the Flag Dance in Yerushalayim, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, the Chief Rabbi of Tzfas, shared his perspective with Israel National News. According to him, Yom Yerushalayim should be commemorated for an extended duration, encompassing an entire week, rather than being confined to a single day.

Rav Eliyahu expressed, “This occasion belongs to Yerushalayim, and we ought to rejoice for a week, or even a minimum of six days, as each day of the Six Day War showcased a more astounding miracle than the previous one.”

He further emphasized that the day marking the liberation of Yerushalayim represented a resounding triumph, a glorious testament to the divine benevolence bestowed upon the city. “Within those six days, the immense love that God holds for the people of Israel was unveiled. It is simply a matter of opening one’s eyes and recognizing it.”

Regarding the concerns raised about certain far-right activists making derogatory remarks towards Arabs during the dance, he acknowledged, “Such instances are isolated, involving only a handful of individuals. The overwhelming majority participating in the festivities do so out of love and sheer jubilation.”

  1. Whether secular or Religious Zionists: Hallalu ovdei A”Z vaHallalu ovdei A”Z.

    On a derech haTeva level:
Whatever individual miracles occurred during the Zionists’ war in 1967, the Zionists won that war because of their military might (including American weaponry), not because of miracles.

The Zionists keep talking about “miracles”, invented or otherwise, because they use that in a pathetic attempt to prop up their idol.
