The United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) is set to publish a highly-contested report about Israeli businesses that operate in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, Hebrew-language outlet Ynet reported on Sunday.

The designation of Israeli companies has been referred to as “blacklisting” as Israelis fear move could have negative effect on investment in the country.

The UN report is expected to be published at the end of next month, after having been postponed a few times in the past.

  1. So for no other reason than they hold Israeli citizenship, the UN is now blacklisting Arab-Muslims who do business in the mentioned areas. Quite remarkable how the very same Arab-Muslim who is, as example, a Palestinian Authority member is allegedly legitimate, but if and when that same person gives up membership and gains Israeli citizenship then that very same legitimate business (completely unchanged) suddenly becomes blacklisted.

And what if that very same Palestinian obtains American citizenship – would that also delegitimize his business, or is it only Israeli citizenship that works that magic?
