Sen. Mitt Romney says he is recovering after a fall over the weekend that knocked him unconscious and led to “a lot of stitches.”
The 73-year-old Utah Republican said that he “took a fall” while in Boston as he was visiting his son and grandchildren.
Romney told reporters Monday he went to a hospital to get stitches.
The senator was seen on Capitol Hill with a black eye and stitches above his eye and his lip.

Maybe he should take this as a sign that he should leave public service (the senate) and leave us all alone?
Interesting that many criminals with nefarious crimes against children have a black eye; Bush, Kerry, the pope, McCain and hundreds of others. Romney, the Deep State RINO… Worthwhile doing some investigation…
