Sen. Bernie Sanders said Sunday he “never expected” to see a swastika at a major political rally, after a man was removed from the Democrat’s presidential rally in Phoenix for unveiling a flag with the Nazi symbol.
“[The] idea that a swastika, a symbol of everything this country stands against … [is] obviously unspeakable,” Sanders said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” adding that around 400,000 Americans died fighting in WWII.
“[It’s] something I never expected in my life, as an American to see a swastika at a major political rally. It is horrible,” Sanders added.

Sanders thinks that because he is such an anti-Semite himself the anti-semites won’t bother him. And even when they do it doesn’t occur to him to do Teshuva. Instead he refers to the American soldiers killed by the Nazis and identifies with them instead of realizing that the guy with the flag had no issue with any of the non-Jewish American soldiers killed by the Nazis .He isn’t bringing the flag to dishonor them
