A Senate Republican has declared that his party “is dead” and it’s time for something “new” after a string of deflating midterm losses ensured Democrats will control the Senate for at least another two years.
“The old party is dead,” Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley said in a tweet last night. “Time to bury it. Build something new.”
Hawley tweeted shortly after it was projected that Democratic incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada beat her Republican challenger, Adam Laxalt, in the pair’s hotly contested race.
Time to move trump out of the way so the country can for candidates rather then against a candidate.
Agreed. Problem is DeSantis is no good.

His popularity was in Trump Era, now that that is seemingly on the wane, His popularity will not stick either.
He will still be a “good republican”, but his stardom will not remain, while his infamy will stick with democrats.

Have you forgotten the enormous amounts of achievements President Trump accomplished in his first 4 years in office — the strongest US economy ever, the lowest unemployment, tax cuts, immigration, healthcare, restored law and order, brought G-d back to the country, destroyed nuclear plants, no wars had started in his tenure, elevated the United States’ image to the entire world to its unique glory and peak heights where people all over had admired the President of America and its citizens, plus dozens of other huge fulfillments, unlike any other President before him or after him? He even continued his achievements after officially leaving office with the Draining of the Swamp, the invisible enemy, cleansing the planet, destroying DUMBs and tunnels globally, and rescuing millions of children. Has so-called-president Biden accomplished any of this? Do you think DeSantis or anyone else can accomplish any of this? Think logically, use your brains for a change instead of waiting to be spoonfed with lies and deception by the fake media, the true enemy of the people.
The media and politicians act like the Germans who brainwashed and misled the naive yidden, telling them they’ll be resettled, with the askonim and machers – who sold their neshomos to the Satan – helping their bluff and unfortunately were very successful with fooling the people. Trump is killing his credibility. He needs to be side lined.
Yet the Republican party is not standing upto itself. They’re not fighting the demrats nor narcissistictrump. America is dying.

I think he means, or he should, that the old GOP, the McConnell, Rayan, McCain.. that party should be burried.
Trump has nothing to do with these results if they have any brains.
Anyone running against Trump is really ruining themselves. Just watch and see.
And keep this in mind: Anyone running against Trump is basically saying it’s a big sin to be an “election denier” and the 2020 election was not stolen, because if it was, then surely Trump should be our nominee. It just isn’t gonna work!
And ignoring those questions by saying “well, I just want to look forwards, not backwards” etc. won’t either work, because your almost asking them to steal it from you too, and you won’t be able to say a thing once they do!

This Hawley guy is a fool. The reason the Republicans lost is because of abortion, as exit polls indicated (it was the number one concern cited by voters). Trump’s very weak candidates didn’t help either, of course, but the American people don’t want government limiting abortion more than they don’t want government forcing the trans agenda down our throats. So there’s unfortunately nothing new the Republicans can bring to the table.
I’m not at all pro abortion (obviously), but I can see where the average non-religious goy is coming from, which is the reality we have to recognize.
Abortion was a smaller differential than the Trump factor. And likely a temporary one. And if you trade away your hard earned values for one election – what are you worth? The substance voters will hold their noses and abandon the party long term

That seems strange. All the courts did was to leave abortion to the States.
The courts did not rule against abortion, only that there is no constitutional right to abortion, so, therefore, it is up to the States to determine their own laws.
For voters to pick that as their red-line, especially against the record inflation, open borders, and all the rest, is simply not believable – unless other forces were at play, which they certainly were, like the media lies, et al.
That is, of course, the premise of the literal constitution and name of this country: the United States of America, not America’s federally-run States.
