The traditional signage at the entrance to the Har Habayis warning Jews from going up to the mountain had been removed by an unknown source, but now, in accordance with the request made by the Rishon Lezion and chief rabbi Rav Yitzchak Yosef to the rov of the Kosel Rav Shmuel Rabinowitz, the sign has been returned.
The sign says:
Announcement and Warning:
It is forbidden according to Torah law for anyone to enter the area of the Har Habayis due to its holiness.

What is the Halacha? Where in the Torah does it say that Jews can’t go to the Har Habayis?
It doesn’t and all learned Jews know that the sign does not reflect the actual halachah.
I have not ever gone up; I am not sure that I ever will, but my rabbi of blessed memory did and I have known other rabbis who have.
Who is your Rabbi?
According to Gedolei YIsrael (the leading Halacha authorities) we cannot enter the Har HaBayis (Temple Mount) because we are Safek Tmeii Mais (We may have come into contact with a dead body.
AY, nope, thats a joke. It’s because one step in the wrong place and bam, kareis.
