Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie dinged former President Donald Trump for Herschel Walker’s defeat Tuesday in Georgia’s Senate runoff, Politico reports.
“We all remember in 2016, he said, if he got elected, there was going to be so much winning and winning and winning and winning, they’d get sick of winning,” Christie said Sunday during a panel discussion on ABC’s “This Week.” “None of us knew at the time he was actually talking about the Democrats.”
“Herschel Walker is his creation,” Christie said of Trump. “And so he’s got to own the fact that Herschel Walker so vastly underperformed.”

Headline is misleading. It’s not sour grapes. It’s real.
Actually, Walker didn’t underperform; he just was was so clearly not qualified. The only reason he got as far as he did was trump’s backing which is enough to get the nomination, but cannot get an election. Trump backed someone who was clearly not qualified simply because Walker backed “the steal”. It was just one of many that the Republicans lost because of Trump’s backing of unqualified people simply because they said they back “the steal”.

Hershel Walker was a disaster. Way to much dirt and scandals. Trump could of pulled the plug on him early on. We lost the Senate BECAUSE of Trump and the incompetent Ronna McDaniel. Trump is finished, as far as his attempt to be President again. If the Republicans are dumb enough to keep this McDaniel female as RNC chair, they will lose the Presidency in 2024! Herschel Walker is an excellent candidate! Anyone who thinks not has simply been swayed by the tremendously overbearing Liberal machine spouting a non-stop campaign to trash Walker. Can you think of a single significant promotion in the general media for Raphael Warnock? No. All they did was trash Walker, and make a fanfare out of the few and far-between times his speeches were lacking.

Walker is an average dumb former NFL player. Nothing between the two ears of his. He got hit too many times without his helmet on. was overated even when he played in the NFL. The Cowboys were lucky to dump him on the Vikings.
Whenever I see a headline of Chris Christie the only thing that comes to mind is that picture of him sunning on the beach after he closed them on a July 4th weekend
