Rav Reuven Feinstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Staten Island, underwent successful knee replacement surgery yesterday, as first reported on Matzav.com last night. The doctor was happy with the results, but today, his blood pressure dropped and he was moved to the ICU at the hospital.
Bechasdei Hashem, his family relates that “the main issue” has been identified and the rosh yeshiva is doing better.
All are asked to continue davening for the complete refuah of Shalom Reuven ben Shima.

It’s definitely pronounced Shima. I know many of her great granddaughters named after her.
