Tefillos for Yungerman and His Wife Involved in Accident in Italy

A yungerman and his wife, residents of Yerushalayim, are in need of rachamei Shomayim after being involved in a moped accident in Rome, Italy, where they had traveled during this current bein hazemanim.

The choshuve yungerman, R’ Refoel Charlap, is a member of Yeshivas Brisk in Yerushalayim. He is a son of Rav Alexander Charlap, rov of Congregation Zichron Chaim in Cleveland, and a grandson of Rav Zevulun Charlop, menahel emeritus of Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan, and Rav Mordechai Dov Fine, rov of Congregation Machzikei Hadas of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Charlop is a daughter of Rav Yechiel Schustal, rov of K’hal Torah U’tefilah in Harmony Farms, Jackson, NJ, and a granddaughter of Rav Shlomo Feivel Schustal, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Tiferes Yerachmiel of Lakewood, and Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum, rov of Khal Nachlas Yitzchok of Queens.

Mrs. Charlop’s condition is said be to stable. Unfortunately, R’ Refoel is in very serious condition and is currently sedated at an Italian hospital.

Mrs. Charlop is said to be in condition to be transferred to the United States. Her husband, however, will have to remain in Italy for the time being until his condition stabilizes, be’ezras Hashem.

All are asked to daven for Refoel ben Rivka Chanah and Devorah Adinah bas Chanah Avigayil.
