Today, the CEO of Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Dr. Ofer Marin, paid a visit to Reb Yehoshua Hersh Glick, who is hospitalized in Shaare Zedek after been injured in the Kosel shooting attack last Motzoei Shabbos. He sustained gunshot wounds to the neck and underwent emergency treatment in the trauma unit. Reb Yehoshua Hersh continues to recover slowly, a day at a time.
A few days ago, Reb Yehoshua Hersh, 46, a father of 9 from Williamsburg, left the intensive care unit of the hospital and was moved to continue treatment in a regular ward at the hospital. This morning, he was visited by Dr. Marin, who was accompanied by Chezky Berkowitz, a noted medical consultant.
Reb Yehoshua Hersh and his family members thanked the doctor for the professional medical care he has received at Shaare Zedek.
As reported earlier, Reb Yehoshua Hersh went to Eretz Yisroel to daven at mekomos hakedoshim in advance of his son’s wedding.
