After a piece of a snake was found in a bag of Sunfrost green beans in Israel, as reported earlier today on Matzav.com, Channel 12 reports that parts of a snake were found in a bag of frozen green beans from the Pri Hagalil company.
The company did not inform the Ministry of Health of the incident.
The customer spoke with the CEO of the company, and since she didn’t have the product itself to send and had only a photo, the company did not inform the Ministry of Health.
Pri Hagalil stated in response to the Channel 12 report that the snake part was discovered about two months ago. Since then, no official complaint has been received about any Pri Hagalil product. “We have carried out all the necessary tests at the factory to make sure that there is no defect in the production process and that there is strict quality control in the factory,” the company said. “Hence, if indeed a foreign body was discovered in our product, which to this day we have no proof of, it is a solitary finding and nothing more than that.”
