The Government of Israel must properly establish the Yeshiva of Chomesh in Samaria “as an answer to the murder,” Etya Dimentman, the widow of Yehuda Dimentman, who was murdered in a shooting attack on Thursday, said.

Yehuda Dimentman, 25, left behind a wife and nine-month-old baby David, as well as his parents and 11 brothers.

Speaking after the deadly attack for the first time on Sunday, Etya said that “Yehuda did not leave me a will. Yesterday a friend of his showed me that they asked him six and a half years ago what he would do if he had only a week left to live, he replied – ‘study Torah in Chomesh’. This is his will,” she said with pain.

Meanwhile, as reported earlier on Matzav.com, Israel’s combined security forces captured on Motzoei Shabbos the terror cell that carried out the shooting attack on Thursday night in northern Samaria in which Yehuda was murdered and two other Israelis were injured.

The Shin Bet Security service stated this morning that following an “operational and intelligence activity” by the Israeli Security Agency, IDF and the Yamam special anti-terrorism unit of the Israel Police that was carried out overnight in the village of Silat al-Harithiya, four suspects have been detained on their involvement in the recent murder of Dimentman near Homesh.

Other reports indicate that seven suspects were arrested in connection with the attack, including the two shooters and another five who supported the attack.

Shortly afterward, the Islamic Jihad terror organization claimed responsibility for the attack and said that it was in retaliation for the killing of one if its operatives, Jamil Kiel of Shechem, by the IDF last week.

The detainees include Muhammad Jaradat, a senior Islamic Jihad official and a released prisoner. According to sources in the village, his son, Ibrahim, was also arrested. Another detainee is Ibrahim Taha’ina, also a released prisoner.
