It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Reb Feivy Mandel z”l of Lakewood, NJ, who was tragically killed in an automobile accident the morning in Lakewood.
Reb Feivy was driving south on Madison Avenue in Lakewood, turning on Courtney Road, when his vehicle was struck by another car driving north at a high speed. Reb Feivy’s car spun around and ultimately smashed into a nearby traffic light pole. Hatzolah paramedics arrived at the scene, but were forced to declare the petirah.
The incident took place near Bais Faiga Elementary School on Madison Avenue and Courtney Road.
Reb Feivy, who was 33, was a member of the kollel at Beth Medrash Govoha. As a bochur, Reb Feivy learned at the yeshiva of Rav Meir Soloveitchik in Yerushalayim.
A devoted ben Torah with an ever-present smile, Reb Feivy was beloved by everyone who knew him.
Reb Feivy is survived by his parents, his devoted wife, and their five children.
Levayah details will be posted once they are finalized.

The levayah will be held at 5 p.m. at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, located at 613 Ramsey Street, off of East 7th Street, in Lakewood, NJ, followed by kevurah in Deans, NJ.
