[Update below.] Several people were killed and other injured this evening when an Egged bus crashed into a bus station on Shamgar Street in Yerushalayim near the Rav Shefa Mall.
Emergency personnel rushed to the scene of the accident.
The bus driver allegedly lost control of the bus, which jumped the curb and hit several pedestrians.
“We ask the public not to approach the area and to allow emergency personnel to finish the emergency operations at the scene of the accident,” the police said.
The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. at a time when that area near Osher Ad is packed with people doing their pre-Shabbos shopping.

Magen David Adom identified those killed in the crash as a woman in her 30s, a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old girl. Channel 12 news reported that the woman was eight months pregnant and that one of the girls was her daughter and the other a relative.
A senior Yerushalayim District commander said the driver was outside the bus at the time trying to fix a “technical malfunction,” when the vehicle began rolling away on its own. “And then what happened, happened,” Assistant Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi told the Kan public broadcaster, according to TOI.

I cant help wondering if the bus driver had a previous record of accidents and should not have been driving a public vehicle. I will be happy to be wrong.

Why? because many of these “accidents” are actually terror attacks by Arab drivers.And there isn’t any snow or ice or even rain to make the driver lose control.
Actually it was a kipa wearing driver who had trouble with his bus and Egged told him to drop off all the passengers and they’ll send another bus. He exited the bus to check it from outside when suddenly the bus started speeding on its own into pedestrians while the driver outside was screaming for people to move. Really freaky.
Which means Hashem made it happen. Remember, He still doesn’t have a בית in this world.
