TRAGIC: Chosson Murdered in North Miami Beach

Hershy Schwartz, a young man who was engaged to be married in ten days, was murdered in a horrific robbery in North Miami Beach, Florida on Motzoei Shabbos. He was just 40 years old.

Hershy, a resident of North Miami Beach, was an active member of Chesed Shel Emes of Florida.

He was found this morning in his car after being shot in what appears to be an armed robbery, police said.

Hershy was beloved by all and a dedicated volunteer, the members of Chesed Shel Emes of Florida said.  “We have lost one of our best. We will work together with the police department to bring the perpetrators of the crime to justice,” said Mark Rosenberg, head of Chesed shel Emes Florida.

Hershy was engaged to be married to Rosie Brustowsky, a daughter of Rav Aaron and Mrs Miriam Brustowsky, renowned longtime mechanech. The wedding was to be held in Lakewood in two weeks.
