After Donald Trump met with Kanye West and white nationalist Nick Fuentes on Thanksgiving night, his former ambassador to Israel sent him a pointed message telling the former president, “You’re better than this.”
“I urge you to throw those bums out, disavow them and relegate them to the dustbin of history where they belong,” David M. Friedman tweeted today. “I condemned [Barack] Obama associating with Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright. This is no different. Antisemites deserve no quarter among American leaders, right or left.”
Fuentes, an infamous holocaust-denier and white supremacist, and West, who was dropped from several brand deals after several antisemitic rants and increasingly erratic behavior, dined with Trump at Mar-a-Lago where West asked Trump to serve as the rapper’s running mate in the 2024 election and, according to The New York Times, Trump said Fuentes “gets me.”
President Trump has a different way of doing things. Rich people make their own rules. and don’t like to take orders from others, including media, and the cancel culture.
He had to do with Al Sharpton for many years in the past. Does that mean that he agrees with Sharpton on everything? Of course not.

It most certainly was a horrendous specific Chillul Hashem when President Trump had to remark that more non-Jews thanked him for moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem than Jews did. And it most certainly has been a horrendous general Chillul Hashem that vast numbers of Jewish people joined in on this vehement Sinas Chinam – this vehement baseless hatred of President Trump that had swept through the country, when, in actuality, President Trump had been THE MOST pro-Israel & promoter of Jewish interests president in US history.
