Several people have reportedly died after a Tennessee National Guard helicopter crashed near Huntsville, Alabama, Wednesday just after 3 p.m. There were two people found dead in the aircraft’s wreckage, Don Webster, a spokesman for Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc., told Fox 54 in Huntsville. He said in an earlier statement that there were “no survivors.”

Alabama authorities also confirmed that the helicopter was a UH-60, otherwise known as a Black Hawk. Footage of the wreckage shot by drivers showed a black plume of smoke rising just off what appeared to be a major roadway. Authorities have told residents of the area to brace for extended traffic delays in the area.
