US Gas Prices Hit New Record of $4.37 a Gallon

Retail gasoline prices in the United States rose today and hit another all-time record, surpassing one set in March, as global refineries grappled with a bottleneck that has sent prices soaring ahead of driving season, Reuters reports.

The average cost of a retail gallon of gasoline hit $4.374 early today , according to the American Automobile Association, surpassing the former record of $4.331.

  1. Whether the entire increase could be faulted on the Democrats, or just the latest 7 cents, gasoline appears to be a major fuel on which the Republicans will ride to majority, in November.
    In truth, Biden would have been one of the worst Presidents at any time period. Considering the Covid pandemic, the resultant shortages and inflation, plus the war in Ukraine, the man duly appears to be an unmitigated disaster.

  3. This has to be price gauging either by the refiners, distributors, retailers, or at all levels. The price at the well head has not gone up recently; rather it’s come down a bit.
    People have to learn to stop or limit their driving and purchase of gasoline forcing the price to come down.
