I wish someone would be able to explain to me why it’s okay to broadcast pictures and videos of women. What happened to tznius? Would our grandparents have done this?
I know there will be the whiners who say “no, they’re showing hakaras hatov. It’s a good thing”. But really, a video of women showing hakaras hatov doesn’t fall under the gedder of “eis laasois L–sHEm heifeiru Soirasecha” – by any stretch.
And for people who are so into segulos, tznius brings shmira and we need shmira. Let’s ge rid of all the pictures of women – even if they are “benign” because there is no such thing.
Isn’t this for the general American public? Just imagine the outcry if there were no women, what they would say about how we treat our women. That would be a חילול השם. It’s possible to have minimized the exposure of women by having girls and possibly older women who are less eye-catching, but I’m not a halochic authority, just an amateur eitzes gibber.
