My late father-in-law, Reb Yosef Friedenson z”l (who speaks on this video), told us what he heard from Harav Menachem Ziemba Hy”d at this Siyum:
There is a machlokos whether “Kesher Elyon D’Oraisa” — Whether the top knot of the Tzitzis is a Torah requirement?
Rabbi Ziemba said, homiletically, “If you want to have a Kesher (connection) to the Elyon (Hashem), it can only be through Oraisa (the Torah).
