Why don’t all these closed “non-essential” stores take in some food products to sell, and then call themselves “essential”, thereby allowing them to open? How is that different than the big stores like Walmart and Target?
maybe they would rather people go to one central locaiton and if the virus spreads it will be in one central locaiton and not in many small locataitins all over the country
Dear Mussa, the complexity of your thought overran any actual thought. One carrier in a small store infects 10 people, one carrier in a huge crowd infects 1000 people. So how does “central location” help anything?!
Why not open a website? Great idea. You will be the first customer to buy a 2 carrot diamond ring for $8000. Who has jewelry on their minds now? Plus most people are struggling to put food on their table, i can assure you , jewelry is the last thing they are thinking about

I don’t have 8000 to spare and I am lucky enough to stay afloat, but if I did, I would buy maybe a thousand worth of PPE and the rest buy jewellery. I would also set aside a little money to buy nice fake jewels.
I am confident there are other people who think like I do.

In all fairness, the non essential parts of Costco and Target are closed. So it is a weak argument
