A winter storm is headed for New York City on Tuesday – and could dump between one and three inches of snow on the Big Apple, forecasts show.
Snowflakes are predicted to start flying ahead of sunrise Tuesday before picking up through the morning and then transitioning over to a mix of snow, ice and rain around mid-to-late morning, AccuWeather senior meteorologist Paul Walker told The Post on Monday.
“It’s going to be a wet snow because of this situation,” Walker said.
He noted that while “we’re not looking at a big snowstorm,” the precipitation coupled with cold temperatures could make things “icy.”
