New York State has staunched the spread of the coronavirus better than any other state thanks to its slower reopening and more extensive testing regime, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday.
Cuomo introduced new slides to his daily presentation that track how quickly the virus is spread across all 50 states — and show the virus is spreading most slowly in the Empire State and neighboring New Jersey, both of which implemented strict stay-at-home policies to contain the pandemic’s outbreak.
“States that have reopened too quickly or uncontrolled are now starting to close down,” Cuomo said. “We are the exact opposite. Since we’ve reopened, the number has continued to go down. Because we’ve been disciplined in our reopening and that’s what we have to continue to do,” he added. Read more at the NY Post.

I guess it’s because camps are closed.
Or because most of us have already had it!
Thanks to the stay at home policy where innocent people were not in harms way while the invisible enemies were being coronavirused.
And if you’re referring to the flu, b”H most people were not sick the last few months. It was basically 1 per family who came down with fever.
Cuomo already killed anyone who was at high risk through his idiotic policies. There is nobody left to catch it anymore. The fact that Cuomo is gloating over his success would be comical if it wasn’t so sad. To quote Cuomo “We didn’t just flatten the curve, we crushed it!!!”.
Unfortunately Cuomo managed to kill more people than any other state any other state in the process of crushing the curve. The smartest thing for Cuomo to do at this point would be to shut his mouth and let Deblasios stupidity remain at the center of attention.
