The Belzer Rebbe was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim on Sunday for medical tests after feeling unwell, prompting thousands of chassidim to recite Tehillim for his recovery.
The Rebbe did not enter the Belzer bais medrash for the early-morning recitation of Selichos. In his place, his son, Rav Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, led the Selichos, which began later than usual.
Following davening, tens of thousands of Belzer chassidim recited perakim of Tehillim for the refuah of the Rebbe.
The public is being asked to daven and invoke rachamei Shomayim for the complete refuah of the Belzer Rebbe, Rav Yissachar Dov ben Miriam, b’soch she’ar cholei Yisroel.
