An Israeli production factory is currently manufacturing a nasal spray, capable of removing almost 100 percent of viral particles, particularly crucial as the world battles the coronavirus pandemic.
“The product we have developed, which kills viruses in the upper nasal pathways, will be delivered via a nasal spray bottle that contains a month’s supply for an individual,” said Dr Gilly Regev, the Israeli CEO and co-founder of SaNOtize.
The spray has been shown to be effective in the laboratory against a wide range of viruses, she said, stressing that “new variants of the coronavirus would not interfere with its effectiveness.”
