A major fire broke out yesterday at the Shuvu Boys School in Kiryat Menachem in Lod. The flames consumed the school building, which was completely burned.
Fire and rescue services gained control over the center and confirmed that there were no people trapped inside, but there was a danger of the roof of the building collapsing.
Deputy Commander of the Ayalon Station Oz Cohen remarked, “The quick response of the firefighters together with the vigilance of the locals prevented a major disaster, as they managed to get all the students out safely.”
