Following the revelation on Matzav.com about the threatening letters sent to the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Yakirei Yerushalayim, opponents of vaccines sent another letter last night with additional threats against Rav Yehuda Cohen.
The letter contains direct threats to the life of the Rosh Yeshiva and his family members.
It’s about a week and a half since unknown individuals first sent a threatening letter to Rav Cohen.
The extremists behind the letters raised the bar this time, calling “for the murder of Yehuda Cohen,” adding that “we are not afraid of the Nazi-yonim” (sic).”
“We warn you and your wife again that if you bring vaccines to students and children in Yerushalayim, your blood, your wife’s blood…”
Last night, at around 7:00 PM, the Rosh Yeshiva returned from his yeshiva to his home in central Yerushalayim and saw the letter in his mailbox. His family informed the police, who are investigating the incidents.
The threats to the life of the Rosh Yeshiva have led to sharp condemnation from both health officials and Knesset members. The director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, said: “We take seriously the violent threats towards those who seek to save children and vaccinate them.”
Shas chairman MK Aryeh Deri remarked, “I call on law enforcement authorities to quickly capture the perpetrators and punish them with the full severity of the law.”
Update: The individual behind the letters has been identified and apprehended. Those who know him claim that he is mentally unstable. Police will continue their investigation into the matter.

What a cheap comment from Prof. Nachman Ash! “We take seriously the violent threats towards those who seek to save children and vaccinate them.” To use this to promote the vax agenda!? “We take seriously any violent threats against people’s lives.” is what he should have said if he is sincere.
how is it that the rabbonim of these so-called chariedim allow them to speak about gedolei yisroel in such a blasphemous way? there are ways to disagree–the gemorah is full of such ways–in a respectful way. these tactis are a boosha to klal yisroel
