Former top Trump aide Jared Kushner plans to release his new book, described as “honest and nuanced,” in August, according to publisher Broadside Books, the Washington Examiner reports.

Kushner, who is married to former President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, has been working on Breaking History: A White House Memoir for months. It is the latest from a top Trump aide and will likely counter much of the anti-Trump spin in media-written books.

Kushner, whose office was next to the Oval Office, took the lead on several projects for the former president, including the fight against COVID-19, the path to the Abraham Accords Middle East peace deal, multiple trade agreements, and the push to bring the 2026 World Cup to Los Angeles.

The book is due out on Aug. 9.

  1. A former CIA official once sought to publish a memoir about his tenure in the CIA.
“Can I publish such a book without running into any legal problems?” he asked one his former superiors.
“As long as you go by the book, it shouldn’t be a problem,” the former superior replied.
