As COVID rates rise in New York City, many in the school community are keeping a close eye on the positivity rate.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says learning would go back to remote-only city wide if the positivity rate reaches 3%.
Right now, the 7-day test average is at 2.57% and Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted that schools will remain open on Monday.
Today’s indicators are similar to yesterday:
• 117 patients admitted to the hospital
• 937 new cases

So why are they endlessly torturing our kids, making them take a Covid test again and again and again?! Why can’t WE taxpayers see the real data?! Are we just supposed to close our eyes and blindly believe what the Mayor or Governor tells us? This reminds me of the peasants living in Europe during the Dark Ages.
