Former President Donald Trump is expected to be formally charged and processed in New York City’s Manhattan courthouse today. Last night, on the eve of his arraignment, Trump took to social media to level a raging attack against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Rolling Stone reports.

Trump responded to a Yahoo News report that his indictment would include 34 class Class E felony counts of falsification of business records with a furious rant on Truth Social. “Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic Indictment against me,” Trump wrote. “This means that he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED.”

He added, “If he wants to really clean up his reputation, he will do the honorable thing and, as District Attorney, INDICT HIMSELF.”

“No Crime by Trump. What a MESS. Bragg should resign, NOW!” the former president wrote in a separate post.

  1. When asked whether he would heed Mr. Trump’s call to indict himself for illegally leaking various points on the Trump indictment, Mr. Bragg told reporters on Tuesday: “I’ll be honest with you. Trump’s got a point there, and I was seriously thinking of indicting myself. However, I do not believe that a jury made up of Liberal Manhattanites would ultimately convict me. And if I indict myself and don’t get a conviction, it would sully my reputation as a top notch prosecuting DA.”
“Better to take a knee and not indict myself,” Bragg asserted, “than to lose my credibility and my reputation as a top of the line prosecuting DA, who has the shining credentials to be a future candidate for President.”
