Scott Stringer has emerged victorious in the comptroller’s race in New York.
Stringer gave his victory speech shortly before 10 p.m. and said he plans to be a comptroller “who listens to the voices of New Yorkers in all five boroughs so we can work together in shaping the future of this great city.”
Stringer said the people have spoken loud and clear on Election night.
“We have an opportunity to charter a new course for New York,” he said. “It was a long journey, but it was worth it.”
