UAE Suspends Visa Waiver Deal With Israel Until July 1, Citing Virus Fears

The United Arab Emirates has suspended the visa waiver agreement with Israel, initially set to come into effect in February, until July 1, 2021, Israel’s Foreign Ministry announced Monday.

According to its press release, the move was justified by public health concerns and efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.

Until July 2021, Israelis looking to travel to the UAE will have to obtain entry visas, unless notified otherwise. The same rules apply to Emiratis planning a trip to Israel.

  1. Oh no! What about all those planned kosher experiences? What about all those programs for the rich & famous? What’s going to be with all those dynamic speakers? This is terrible. Just when we thought our tzaros were over.
