North Korea violated the United Nations Armistice agreement twice when it chased after and shot at a soldier who defected to South Korea, the U.N. Command said Tuesday.

North Korea violated the armistice agreement when it fired weapons across the MDL, and again when a North Korean soldier temporarily crossed the line. The escaping soldier was struck by five bullets but is expected to make a full recovery. Read more at The Hill.
