My question is just like selling for a profit is an issue, why isn’t there an issue with a hashgocho who is making money or gaining power not an issue.
Why is a home based kitchen worse than a nursing home. A nursing home has
No Hechsher
No Rov
No Mashgiach Timidi
No Mashgiach
No Shomer Shabbos person in the kitchen
And most of the time, no Jew in the kitchen whatsoever.
And yet they are considered kosher
Where is the uproar?!?
Good points. ask them
tzorech and cholim vs no tzorech and no cholim seems like a pashute chiluk but ask your LOR
Most people in a nursing home are not a choleh, just old. If they can feed themselves food, it should at least be kosher with some kind of hechsher.
People are in a nursing home because the family unfortunately don’t want to deal with them. Another reason is finance. The majority “al pi halacha” would NOT be considered cholim.
