Religious Affairs Deputy Minister Matan Kahana of Yamina recently announced that he plans to appoint 21 female halachic advisors this year.
While such advisors already exist in some communities, Kahana’s appointees will be recognized by the Religious Affairs Ministry and receive state-funded salaries.
Many yoatzot halacha are trained by the Yerushalayim-based Jeanie Schottenstein Center for Advanced Torah Study for Women, one of the first educational frameworks to teach Talmud to women.

Religious Jews who are involved in litigation are mandated to do so in a Bais Din. The Rabbanut is governed by the secular state of Israel who are not only not beholden to halacha, the government hates shomrei Torah umitzvos r’l. Any outward appearance to the contrary is exclusively for political reason.

All American comfy critics , just shut up , make Aliyah and make your voices heard. Where are you now , bungalow colony ? Florida ? In Cancun ? Doing Morocco ?
Neither. We’re heading to Dubai. Then Croatia on the way back.
Will these women be mesader kedushin at weddings too?
That is not enough. It’s time for women to flex their muscles and put the men in place.
What place is that?
“Nishmat” is, of course, proudly “Religious Zionist”. “Religious Zionism” is idolatry and heresy (as per Rav Elchonon, the Brisker Rav, the Chazon Ish and others).
So, it makes sense for the Israeli “Government”/thug-ocracy (as per the Chazon Ish) to pay for these women’s salaries because it furthers the Zionists’ agenda of spreading/reinforcing the poison of Zionism.
Idolatry? Who is the gechke? Heresy? Which of the 613 does it contradict?
I see Korach’s penchant for Machlokes though lives on.
