On the sidelines of a Nov. 4 election rally, President Biden said the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran is “dead,” stressing he would not formally announce it, according to a new video.

This marks the strongest confirmation that the Biden administration has no path forward for the Iran deal, leaving questions about the future of Tehran’s nuclear program.

In late October, the U.S. envoy for Iran, Rob Malley, said the administration would not “waste time” reviving the Iran nuclear deal considering Tehran’s crackdown on protests, Iran’s support for Russia’s efforts in Ukraine, and Iran’s position on its nuclear program. (Newsmax)

  1. When asked what he’ll do with the nuclear deal now that he has publicly announced its death, the President told reporters: “Well, we’re going to give it a proper and respectful burial – that is befitting of a deal negotiated by Obama – and then we’ll try to negotiate a new deal that looks and feels identical to the old deal.”
“And if Iran produces nuclear weapons in the very near future,” he asserted, “we can still negotiate a new deal that limits how many thousands of bombs we’ll allow them to produce in exchange for removing economic sanctions from them.”
“So please don’t shed any tears over the old deal’s demise,” Biden added, “because you won’t even feel like the old deal passed away.”
